Requirements:

  • BSc(Hons) Radiography, DCR(D) Diploma of the College of Radiographers or equivalent
  • HCPC registration
  • Proven experience performing X-rays
  • Experience using the C-arm in theatre settings
  • Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) training : desirable but not essential
  • Experience with quality assurance (QA) on imaging equipment : desirable but not essential
  • Familiarity with clinical audits and governance
  • Strong patient care and customer service skills
  • Excellent teamwork abilities
  • Understanding of PACS/RIS and patient management systems
  • Basic understanding of MRI
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
